Camino a Paris

[:es]París es una ciudad con más de 2 millones de habitantes y ha sido el eje económico, político y artístico de Francia desde la era de los romanos. Pero al ingreso a la ciudad, al igual que en Londres, tuve la sensación de que no me encontraba en una capital europea, debido a la inmensa población de gitanos, indios y africanos que existe. Pero no me importó, finalmente lo había logrado. Estaba enfrente a la torre Eiffel. [:en]Paris is a city with more than 2 million inhabitants and it has been the economic, political and artistic axis of France from the Romans age. Like in London, I had the sensation that I was not in a European city, due to the population of gypsies, Indian and Africans. But I had finally made it. I was in front of the Eiffel Tower[:]

Bélgica

[:es]La gente me mira con cara de asombro, desde las ventanillas de sus autos o bajo sus paraguas, sin entender como puedo estar pedaleando en estas condiciones climáticas. El invierno en Europa había comenzado.[:en]People look at me surprised from the windows of their cars or under their umbrellas, without understanding how I can cycle with those climatic conditions. The winter in Europe had begun[:]

Holanda

[:es]Dicen que Holanda es el país de las bicicletas y que es perfecto para pedalear debido a las ciclo-vias. Pero esto no es así, porque al dejar una ciudad las ciclo-vías se dividen una y otra vez, como si fuesen un gran laberinto y por ello es casi imposible no perderse.[:en]It is believed that Holland is the country bikes and that it is perfect to cycle through bicycle lines. But it is wrong, because when you leave a city the cycle-lanes start to divide as a great labyrinth and it is quite impossible don´t get lost.[:]

Camino a Londres

[:es]Londres es la ciudad más grande del continente, pero ingresando a ella tuve la sensación de estar en varios lugares al mismo tiempo, porque por kilómetros viven y trabajan turcos inmigrantes, paquistaníes, hindúes y africanos. Lo que menos parecía era Europa.[:en]Reaching to London, I had the sensation of being at the same time in several places, because per kilometres I saw Turks, Pakistani, Hindu and Africans people. It seemed that I wasn’t in Europe[:]

Gales

[:es]Gales es un país de una belleza natural espléndida, con paisajes diversos; montañas, ríos, bosques o kilómetros de costas impolutas. El país posee una cultura de fuertes raíces celtas. Los galeses hablan una lengua propia, que ha sobrevivido a pesar del uso extendido del inglés.[:en]Wales is a country with a splendid natural beauty, with diverse landscapes; mountains, rivers, forests and kilometres of unpolluted costs. The country possesses a strong culture of Celtic roots. Welsh speak an own language that it has survived in spite of English’s extended use.[:]

República de Irlanda

[:es]Mi estadía en la capital se extendió durante casi 2 semanas, que sirvieron para poner a punto la bici y conocer a los irlandeses que son muy distintos a los ingleses. Son serviciales, abiertos y amigables; los irlandeses son buena gente.[:en]I stayed in Dublin during almost 2 weeks, I checked the bike and I live together with the Irish people; and I understood that they are very different to the English people. They are helpful, open and friendly; the Irishmen are good people.[:]

Irlanda del Norte

[:es]Los relatos de Coloumba ya no me sorprendían, pero dejé Belfast pensativo. Como en muchos otros lados de mi viaje observo como la lucha por el poder y el enfrentamiento entre religiones también ocupa a otras etnias.[:en]I was no longer surprised with Coloumba´s stories, but I left thoughtful Belfast. Like in many other sides of my trip I observed as the struggle for the power and the confrontation among religions also take to other ethnic groups. [:]

Escocia

[:es]Lo lindo de pedalear por estos países es que las distancias entre las ciudades son muy cortas y todos los días resultan novedosos. Lo malo, en ésta época del año es el clima, el viento es muy fuerte, y casi todos los días llueve. [:en]The nice thing of pedalling for these countries is that the distances among the cities are very short and every day is different. The bad thing, during this time of the year, is the weather, when the wind is very strong and everyday it rains [:]

Newcastle

[:es]Mi camino hacia Bredwick, en el norte de Inglaterra fue entre paisajes alucinantes. Una zona de acantilados y de muchas colinas, donde se mezclaba un verde intenso con el azul del mar. Lamentablemente el clima no ayudó y no demoré en dejar esta región del país. [:en]I cycled to Bredwick, in the north of England where hallucinating landscapes are. An area with cliffs and a lot of hills. But heading north I left the country quickly, because the cold and the constants sprinkles were my biggest obstacle.[:]

Oslo

[:es]Oslo es la más antigua de las capitales escandinavas y aunque ocupa una gran extensión cuenta con tan sólo una población de 500.000 habitantes. Allí visité uno de los principales museos vikingos, donde sentí fascinación por este pueblo de navegadores, que fueron verdaderos amo y señor del mar.[:en]Oslo is the oldest Scandinavian capital city and although it occupies a great extension it counts with only a population of 500.000 inhabitants. There I visited one of the main Vikings museums, where I woke up myself a great fascination for this people who were a true Master and Mister of the sea. [:]
