I am fortunate in life. Perseverance and providence, so I say, have allowed me to know the world and interact with people from every corner of the planet.
DIARY OF
TRIP
In 1999 I cycled from Maceio to Buenos Aires and after two years of preparations I traveled to Africa. I returned to the American continent in 2012 where I pedaled the last 55,000 km during 5 years.
I entered Australia through Darwin, and cycled to Sydney. Then I went to New Zealand and Samoa Islands, Polynesia.
I entered Asia through Turkey and cycled, first to Japan and then to East Timor. During 4 years I traveled more than 40,000 km in this continent, from where I continued to Australia.
I came and went to Europe 5 times, first from Africa and then from the Near East. I spent more than 2 years where I visited no less than 30 countries.
I started in Cape Town, South Africa, and I cycled to Cairo during 27 months. Sometimes bordering the Indian Ocean and other times inland. Also, I traveled from Europe to Morocco and Tunisia.
