El Monte Ararat

[:es]Pedalear el este de Turquía no fue fácil. Camino a la frontera con Irán llegué a Dogubayazit y me topé con el majestuoso Monte Ararat, donde según la Biblia y también de acuerdo al Corán, es el lugar donde posó el arca de Noé. Estar allí y conocer su historia fue emocionante.[:en]To cycle the east of Turkey was hard. On the way to the Iran border I arrived to Dogubayazit and I was amazed to see the majestic Ararat Mount, where according to the Bible and also according to the Koran, it is the place which the Noah’s ark landed. To be there and to know about its history was exciting.[:]

El Kurdistán en bicicleta

Otra vez en Turquía

[:es]Ingresé a Turquía por cuarta vez. Un país hermoso y testigo de los mejores momentos del viaje. Ya llevo más de dos años viajando por los países del mediterráneo y lo que debería ser un recorrido lineal por momentos se me hace circular. Ahora compartiría ruta con un Serbio[:en]I entered to Turkey per fourth time. It is a nice country and witness of the best moments of the trip. I have already travelled for more than two years through the Mediterranean countries and what should be a lineal journey for moments is a circular route. Now I would cycle with a friend from Serbia.[:]

Bulgaria

Pero los ex pueblos yugoslavos no son mala gente, sino el resultado de manipulaciones de sus líderes étnicos incentivados por la política exterior de los que mandan.[:en]My stay in Serbia served to understand how terrible can be a State, to carry out its interests to any price. But the people of the old Yugoslavia are not bad, but the result of their ethnic leaders’ manipulations motivated by the foreign policy of those in command.[:]

Bosnia y Herzegovina

[:es]Bosnia y Herzegovina es un país multicultural, de mayoría musulmana. “Aquí el concepto de ser musulmán no es tan radical como en otros países. Lo que cuenta son las reglas del Islam, el ser musulmán no significa que las mujeres anden cubiertas y que todo sea una imposición, porque el Islam es una elección”, me decía Faruk.[:en]Bosnia and Herzegovina is a multicultural country, but here the concept of being Muslim is not as radical as in other countries. The important thing is the Islam rules. To be Muslim doesn’t mean that the women have to be covered and that everything is an imposition, because the Islam is an election, Faruk said to me.[:]
