También es conocida por la célebre fiesta de la cerveza: Oktoberfest. Permanecí una semana en la ciudad y recaudé el dinero para avanzar otro trayecto del viaje.[:en]Munich is the most important city in the south of Germany; it has majestic buildings, besides historical monuments, and important museums. It is also well-known by the celebrated party of the beer Oktoberfest. I stayed in the city during a week and I collected the money to cycle another itinerary of the trip.[:]
[:es]El oeste de Austria es la zona menos poblada del país, allí se extiende todavía la cordillera del los Alpes que alberga numerosos centros de esquí, una de las principales atracciones turísticas del país. Y atravesar esta zona de bicicleta no fue nada fácil. [:en]The west of Austria is the area fewer populated of the country, there, it still expands the mountain range of The Alps, that has a lot of ski centers, one of the main tourist attractions of the country. And to cross this area by bike was not easy at all.[:]
[:es]A mi llegada a Zurich conocí a unos chicos, eran latinos y europeos, tenían una banda de música y esa misma noche darían un concierto en su casa, una casa ocupa. Como no tenía donde dormir me fui a la fiesta, e invité a un desconocido que deambulaba en la calle. Éste llegó más tarde con la policía.[:en]I arrived in Zurich and I met some guys, latins and europeans who had a band and were going to give a concert at their house that night. Due to I didn´t have any place to spend the night I went there. It was an usurped house, but in middle of the night police arrived and cancelled the party. [:]
[:es]Dicen que los franceses son cerrados y un poco arrogantes, pero según mi experiencia en el sur de Francia debo decir todo lo contrario, aunque exceptuando a René sólo me relacioné con francesas. [:en]I heard French people are unfriendly and arrogant but, in accordance with my experience in the South of France, I disagree. Although, excepting René, I only met French women. [:]
[:es]La rambla es la avenida más famosa de Barcelona y da gusto caminarla. Animada de día y de noche, es como un museo de personajes que con su originalidad cobran tributo a los turistas o simplemente a los curiosos. Y yo también me detuve allí a exponer mi viaje.[:en]It was very beautiful to walk along the rambla, the most famous avenue of Barcelona. And for me it was like a museum of characters that, with their originality, amuse tourists and curious people.[:]
[:es]La idea de viajar por todo el continente con dos o tres sponsors europeos no tuvo éxito. Parecería que no existieran empresas a las que se les pueda presentar un proyecto distinto. La política de marketing tiene otra estrategia, me decían. Por ello tuve que recurrir al plan B.[:en]The idea of travelling round the continent with two or three European sponsors didn’t succeed. [:es]Atravesar el desierto de Danakil en bicicleta fue una locura. Tiene varias áreas que se encuentran a más de cien metros por debajo del nivel del mar y se lo considera uno de los lugares más inhóspitos y más calientes del planeta. Su temperatura puede elevarse a más de cincuenta grados, aunque según me informaron comenzaban los meses de frío cuando la temperatura apenas pasa los cuarenta grados.
